The flange aligner has been specially designed for the alignment of tower flanges on wind turbines.
When the turbine towers are laid down for storage, the tower becomes slightly oval, which creates a major challenge when the turbine comes to be installed. If a situation arises where the turbine tower is oval, it is a difficult task to get the flange and flange holes to fit together.
In cooperation with Equalizer International and experienced specialists in the wind turbine industry, HYTOR has therefore developed a tool that makes it possible to align flanges for quick, safe and trouble-free installation of bolts.
