Origin:
HYTOR Fluid Solutions dates back to the foundation of HYTOR in 1981, when a wide range of subcontracting firms to the Danish oil and gas industry was established.
Since the establishment of HYTOR A/S in 1981, the company Komprima was acquired in 1986, so we were also able to offer a range of products to general industry.
In order to provide additional service to general industry, the product range was extended in 2000 with in-house production of high quality stainless and acid-proof cylinders. The cylinders were marketed under the name of AC-Tech.
Between 2004-2011, the company HYTOR Ventil & Fittings A/S is part of the HYTOR Group. HYTOR Ventil & Fittings A/S was responsible for the sale of products from the American instrumentation fitting producer Swagelok, and it was a requirement that the products were handled by an independent company. In order to focus again on the original HYTOR activities of constructing special solutions, the subsidiary HYTOR Ventil & Fittings A/S was sold in 2011, and now operates under a different name.
In 2014, HYTOR Group gains a subsidiary that controls the activities in Qatar. The subsidiary HYTOR Oil & Gas Solutions has its head office in Esbjerg at the same address as the parent company. The primary activities take place in Qatar, which HYTOR Oil & Gas Solution has a sales office and service workshop
Another milestone in the history of HYTOR Group is when HYTOR moves into new premises on Guldborgsundvej in 2015. The premises are adapted to HYTOR’s business and enable the company to perform a wide range of large and more advanced projects.
HYTOR is currently owned by Niels G. Langerhuus, who is also the CEO.
Ownership and structure
On 1 January 2019, HYTOR activities devoted to customized system solutions and the sale of process components were separated into HYTOR Fluid Solutions A/S. A more focused approach to customers and increased activities abroad were the reason for the split.
HYTOR Fluid Solutions A/S is a subsidiary of HYTOR A/S and is owned by Niels G. Langerhuus, which is CEO of the company. HYTOR Fluid Solutions employs approximately 50 employees and includes a sales office and workshop in Doha, Qatar which services its Middle Eastern customers.
HYTOR Fluid Solutions A/S has an additional sister company, HYTOR Tools Solutions A/S, which primarily services the wind turbine industry with specialized tool solutions.
